ASNET to host virtual briefing on Biochar & Regenerative agribusiness solutions

The Agribusiness Sector Network (ASNET) invites all esteemed sector leaders to a virtual engagement scheduled for Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, featuring an insightful presentation by Co-Regen, a leading advisory firm in circular agribusiness solutions.

The session aims to share findings from Co-Regen’s biochar and enhanced weathering trials, as part of broader efforts to advance regenerative agriculture, renewable energy, and climate-smart solutions.

Co-Regen works closely with circular agribusinesses to commingle agricultural and mining residues as part of strategies to restore soil health and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Their innovative approach involves biomass gasification technologies implemented on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) model. The firm is also spearheading integrated pest management (IPM) research on crops such as tea and avocado, aligning their work with climate action and sustainable farming systems.

ASNET encourages all invited participants to take part in this crucial conversation that promotes closed-loop agricultural systems and contributes toward a sustainable future for agribusiness.

Kindly confirm your availability by March 18, 2025, via email to: winnie@asnet.or.ke
