The Kenya Flower Council (KFC) has announced the appointment of Ms. Catherine Mukoko as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO). Catherine brings over two decades of strategic leadership and policy advocacy experience, having held senior positions at the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) and the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE). Her contributions in these roles drove organizational growth, sustainability, and impactful policy initiatives.
Motivated by KFC’s pivotal role in advancing Kenya’s floriculture sector, Catherine is set to enhance operational efficiency, governance, and stakeholder collaboration. A flower enthusiast with ambitions of nurturing her “brown thumb” into a vibrant “green thumb,” she brings a personal passion to her professional mission.
Catherine holds an MBA in Strategic Management, a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, and certifications in professional training, mediation, and SDG compliance. Her expertise in advocacy, policy development, and business partnerships aligns with KFC’s goals of positioning Kenya as a global leader in floriculture innovation and sustainability.
Her leadership promises to strengthen KFC’s influence while aligning its strategies with evolving industry needs. The Council warmly welcomes Catherine with the Swahili phrase, “Karibu sana, Kate!”
