Makita’s Smart Tools: Bringing Gen-Z from TikTok to the farm

Smart tools by Makita making farming easier
Farm equipment manufacturer , Makita Power Tools, represented in Kenya by Intercross Agencies is focusing on smart tools to make farming easier. Jay Chouhan, Technical Manager, says the tools are so game changing, they can pull Gen-Zs from Toktok to the farm! From motorized wheelbarrows, knapsack sprayers, lawn mowers, chain saws, drilling machines and many and more, Makita has introduced more than 400 battery powered tools for smart farming targeting large, medium and small shambas. “We are focusing on battery-powered smart tools to make farming easier especially for the young people”, he said
